Activity or Assignment with Text/Links Students will complete the “Quiz Review: Roosevelt, Talmadge, and the New Deal” worksheet. Watch the Georgia Stories video: How Depressed was Georgia in the Great Depression? Study for the Roosevelt, Talmadge, and New Deal Quiz tomorrow! Students will take the “Roosevelt, Talmadge, and the New Deal Quiz”. We have covered all of the material necessary for you to meet the learning target. Today, we will review everything in preparation for Friday’s test! Students will use their quiz results to complete a quiz analysis (self-assessment) activity. They will document the answers they got wrong on an analysis sheet. We have covered all of the material necessary for you to meet the learning target. Today, you will have an opportunity to show what you know! Students will complete the World War I and Great Depression Unit Test! Students will log into Achieve 3000 through Clever. Students will complete the (Ready, Read, Respond, Reflect, Write, and Stretch #2) portions of the “Hard Times” article. Students will engage in the WW2 introduction by tuning into the brief powerpoint presentation, answering questions when prompted. This will give them background information on the lesson so that they are familiar with the events of WW2 leading up to the Lend-Lease Act and Pearl Harbor. Students will then participate in a game that is related to the Lend-Lease Act. Then, students will be provided notes that they are to keep for themselves and use to answer the comprehension questions as well as study for future quizzes and the unit test.
