GICCA to host three This Girl Can workshops in March

Looking for an exciting opportunity to learn about careers that are fun, engaging and educational? The Golden Isles College & Career Academy is hosting three workshops for girls in 8th and 9th grades and a special adult female (e.g. mom, grandmother, aunt and/or mentor) to explore non-traditional careers for young women. There are limited seats, so call 912-280-6750 to register today.

Registration available for 2021-22 school year

Parents and guardians who have a child that will attend public school in Glynn County for the first time next school year are encouraged to register their child now for school in August.  The 2021-2022 school year will begin on Tuesday, August 10.

Needwood Middle School Spelling Bee Featured Photo
Needwood Middle School held their annual School Spelling Bee on December, 10, 2019 that was conducted in the school’s gymnasium by 6th grade teachers, Ms. Brantley & Ms. Barfield. 7th grader, Zoey Skinner, was named Spelling Bee Champion, while 6th grader, Kara Nuque, earned 1st Runner-up!
