Workshop to introduce girls to nontraditional career options
GICCA will host its first “This Girl Can” workshop for eighth and ninth-grade female students. The workshop aims to introduce female students to nontraditional careers for women.

Free breakfast, lunch through 2020-21 school year
Thanks to now-approved waivers under the Seamless Summer Option guidelines, all students in the Glynn County School System will continue to receive breakfast, lunch and after-school snacks at no charge through the end of June 2021.

Meal Service for Virtual Learners
Parents will be required to submit meal orders online weekly by 12 p.m. on Mondays. Meals will be distributed every Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at Brunswick High School bus ramp.

Needwood Middle School Spelling Bee

Needwood Middle School held their annual School Spelling Bee on December, 10, 2019 that was conducted in the school’s gymnasium by 6th grade teachers, Ms. Brantley & Ms. Barfield. 7th grader, Zoey Skinner, was named Spelling Bee Champion, while 6th grader, Kara Nuque, earned 1st Runner-up!
