The Golden Isles College and Career Academy’s This Girl Can workshop will return by popular demand this school year to provide girls with a chance to explore non-traditional careers for women.
This course will include information on how to qualify for Medicaid based on a child’s disability or chronic health condition (Katie Beckett Deeming Waiver).

Needwood Middle School held their annual School Spelling Bee on December, 10, 2019 that was conducted in the school’s gymnasium by 6th grade teachers, Ms. Brantley & Ms. Barfield. 7th grader, Zoey Skinner, was named Spelling Bee Champion, while 6th grader, Kara Nuque, earned 1st Runner-up!
