Students will use textbook (p.81) Setting the Stage to answer the first question on the worksheet. Students will then use the information on the worksheet and a teacher led slide presentation to complete the worksheet. Begin with the Reasons for the Settlement of Georgia Quiz! The teacher will present information to the class about the four groups of people that started the colony of Georgia with a slide presentation. We will have a class discussion about each comprehension question answer on the worksheet. Students must be able to explain which group they believe brought the most to the colony of Georgia. They must be able to provide examples of why they believe their group made Georgia better!
