Students will begin by explaining how to get to Georgia to aliens from outer space.


After that, the teacher will use Geography of Georgia Power Point *GSE SS8G1.a Slide Show to teach the learning target. The students will complete an activity sheet as we move through the lesson.

Teacher will use Five Geographic Regions of Georgia Power Point *GSE SS8G1b to teach the learning target. Students will complete a map throughout the lesson. Students will highlight important information in the notes activity

The teacher will use a Physical Feature Slides to teach students where the six physical features are located on the map of Georgia. Students will answer questions on a worksheet as the information is presented.
