Opening (I Do)

  • Answer the following questions:

    • How often are you sick with diseases such as the cold or the flu?

    • How quickly do you bounce back to good health when you are sick?

    • How much does being sick interfere with your life?


DIRECT INSTRUCTION:


  • Class discussion about the warm-up questions.

  • Complete Chapter 7 Questions.

  • Watch Video: Protection From Infection.


Work Period  (We Do, You Do)

Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations.  Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period.

GUIDED PRACTICE:  


  • Start on chapter 7 outline.


INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:


  • Class will begin working on chapter 7 outline.


Closing  (We Check)

Describe the instructional process that will be used to close the lesson and check for student understanding .
