Construct an explanation for the patterns of interactions observed in different ecosystems in terms of the relationships among and between organisms and abiotic components of the ecosystem. (Clarification statement: The interactions include, but are not limited to, predator-prey relationships, competition, mutualism, parasitism, and commensalism.)

I can identify and explain the different ways that organisms interact with one another.

Success Criteria:

• explain and give an example of mutualism, commensalism, and parasitism

• create a wanted ad from the point of view of an organism that benefits from a symbiotic relationship

Introduction of Wanted Ad Project - Students work to create a classified advertisement/want ad for a job opening in which an organism in a symbiotic relationship is looking for the other organism.

Students draw to pick the relationship that they will be researching and creating the ad for.
