Dr. Perry’s Sub Plans for April 11-15 - Class periods are 50 minutes long. Please call me if you have any questions (912)638-0001. I have a packet on the “family” that is for my 4th period, Spanish 1 class which is on my desk; however, this can also be given to my other classes if you can make copies. The substitute teacher can choose from the following activities:

Have students complete the activities in the BIG Activity Packets that are located on my desk or black rolling cart or pink bench behind my desk (also where the black Substitute binder is). I have already given each student a copy of this packet, and I have provided extra copies.
Starting with Ch. 1, students (especially high school, 4th period) may read the chapter and complete all the activities (except for the ones requiring audio) in the blue ¡Así se dice! Blue hardback textbooks that are behind my desk in a cardboard box underneath the table on the right.
Starting with Ch. 1, students (especially high school, 4th period who already have this workbook) may read the chapters and complete all the activities (except the ones requiring audio) in the thinner softcover blue workbooks that are behind my desk on the pink bench.
Students may read a book quietly. Books are behind my desk on the brown wooden podium. Some suggestions are below, although they can read any book they desire.

Introduction to Spanish students (all periods except for 4th ) can read the easier picture books.
Spanish 1, 4th period students can read any book they like, including the more advanced novels that are in a container underneath the podium.

Students may engage in the Duolingo app on an electronic device, but you must monitor them carefully. They have been using this app all quarter, all year (in Sp. 1) https://www.duolingo.com/

Students may listen to songs and complete activity “nuggets” on the Senor Wooly website. They have been using this website all quarter, all year (in Sp. 1). https://www.senorwooly.com/

Students may play games and/or watch videos on VOCES as a class or individually on an electronic device. Choose a student to enter the Class ID (vocesu44471) and their password (5-digit PIN#), and the class can play as two teams or as a whole.

Spanish 1 students may read a Flangoo ebook novel out loud as a class or silently individually on an electronic device. Only my Sp. 1 students know how to do this. https://flangoo.com/

Students may work on class and homework assignments such as:
Everything You Need to Know in Spanish (Intro classes) Everything You Need to Know in Spanish Study Guide
Autobiographies (Sp. 1, 4th period) Autobiographies
Morpheme Crosswords (all classes have)

1 Activities Packet on my desk or rolling cart
2 Textbooks (underneath table on right in box)
3 Workbooks (underneath table on right in box)
4 Novels/Books (on brown wood podium)
5 Duolingo (phone or computer)
6 Señor Wooly (phone or computer)
7 VOCES (phone or computer)
8 Flangoo (phone or computer) - HS classes only
9 Class and Homework Assignments (i.e. Packets “Everything” & “Autobiography” students already have copies - extras on desk). See links above.

All Intro Classes(2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, & 7th periods) will complete the "Big Packet," of which extra copies are located on my pink bench behind my desk. All students have been given one already.
My Spanish 1 high school class (4th Period) will complete this packet as well, or they can work on their autobiographies. Copies of both have been given to the students. They can get the prompts from another student if they have lost theirs.
