Do not allow students to get on chromebooks.
*These groups of students can be very talkative, disruptive, and disrespectful. Please make students sit in their assigned seats. Do not let them work with partners. Please do not let them talk to each other. The first student that does not want to cooperate needs to be sent to Mrs. Crutchfield’s room.
*Inform the students that Mr. Gainous will remove misbehaving students from PBIS reward day if their name is left by you for bad behavior.

Assignments:

*EOG time 8:20-8:45. I will have a math packet for students to work on during this time. Please make sure this time is silent and students are working.
*Pass out the worksheets to students. The first worksheet students will work on is a reading passage with questions titled, “Everything is Connected”. Students must answer the reading check and critical thinking questions on the sides of page 304. They also need to complete page 306 as well. If students finish this early before the start of the next assignment, they have a reading passage called “The Living Earth” they need to complete from last week. They should have this in their folder.

*With 25 minutes of class left, please play a video. Go to Schooltube.com and type in Bill Nye Populations. Pass out the guided worksheet that goes along with this video. Play this video until the end of class and allow students to work on the worksheet while watching the video.

*Students know that they must complete their work and behave for you. I have told them that if they get their name written down or if I get a bad note about the class, they will lose their reward to go outside Friday. Please remind them of this and it should help their behavior. Do not hesitate to send a student to Mrs. Crutchfield if there is an issue.
