Success Criteria: I know that I have it when I can describe how Jim Crow laws, Plessy v. Ferguson, disenfranchisement, racial violence, and the 1906 Atlanta Riot denied rights to African Americans and I can describe the ways that Henry Grady, Tom Watson, the Bourbon Triumvirate, the Populists, and the International Cotton Expositions attempted to shape the New South.
