DIRECT INSTRUCTION: I will read a sentence, phrase, or word. Then students will translate it. We do this as a class until the end of the story. Go to Ch. 10 Ecuador in Voces for vocabulary and presentations. VIDEO: Daily routines - Morning

| GUIDED PRACTICE: I will ask them comprehension questions all throughout the story, and I will ask them questions about themselves. Helpful video

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION: Students answer comprehension questions every few seconds. Students will write daily routines on a door knob holder to remind themselves to speak in Spanish when they perform a daily task. If time, they can color them.
