| INTRODUCTION/CONNECTION: Why do you think it’s important to assess regularly while learning a new language? First, it lets you (and me) know how much you have acquired. Second, it gives you a sense of pride to realize how far you’ve come. Third, it lets me know how I need to adjust my teaching so that you are even more successful. It takes an average of 7 years to become sufficiently fluent in a language, and the best way to get there is to work hard, assess regularly, and keep practicing! |
DIRECT INSTRUCTION: Your test is as follows: 1) Verb structures (25 matching) 2) Multiple choice (25) 3) Reading & Listening ((20 multiple choice) 4) When you are finished with all three parts, you may read a Spanish book quietly. |
