ELAGSE8L6: Acquire and accurately use grade-appropriate general academic and domain-specific words and phrases; gather vocabulary knowledge when considering a word or phrase important to comprehension or expression. Learning Target: I will… produce clear, coherent, well-developed, organized writing. independently and proficiently read and comprehend literary nonfiction that is on or above grade level. acquire and accurately use academic and domain-specific words. Success Criteria: I will know I am successful when… my writing contains the necessary components and is clear to the reader. I can read a passage fluently without teacher support and summarize the key points. I can correctly use the words both in writing and in conversation.
