Go to Voces Ch. 9 Venezuela and watch the Video on Body Parts Vocab. Then complete Actividades 2 & 4. If you finish early, you may listen to a song on Senor Wooly, read a book on Flangoo, or do Duolingo.

1. Voces, Ch. 10 Ecuador - Go to the directory, scroll down to Materiales auténticos and do Mi semana, Cuida tu cabello, Vida diaria de un adolescente, and ¡Despierta!
2. Flangoo - Finish reading Los chicos pueden cocinar and answer all the comprehension questions after each chapter.
3. Senor Wooly - Listen to "Los quehaceres" and do two different nuggets.
4. Duolingo - Do 5-10 minutes of Duolingo.

FIRST, take Ch. 1 Mexico/Greetings Chapter 1 Examen (Exam) and when your are finished do the following (if you didn't already finish it yesterday):
1) On Flangoo, Read Chapters 4 & 5 from the novel "Los chicos pueden cocinar" and answer the 10 comprehension questions.
2) On Senor Wooly, listen to "Los quehaceres" and complete Nuggets 1 & 2.
3) On DuoLingo, complete 10 points (5 minutes) of work.
4) On Voces, Ch. 10 Ecuador/Daily Routines, complete Actividades/Activities 1, 2 & 3.  


If you finish all this early, you may complete any missing assignments.
If you have completed all your assignments, you may work on any of the above approved websites. 


Please do not go to any other websites. If you do, I may take away your computer privilege, and you would receive a zero for the day.

5) When you’re done, complete any work you did not complete from yesterday and any assignments you are missing.
6) Tomorrow in class we will complete the daily routine comic strip and have a story.

Do the following:

Make an alphabet poster or Google Slides. There are 29 letters in the Spanish alphabet. On each square of your poster (fold a piece of paper 4 or 5 times, which will give you 16 squares front and back - or 32 squares). Then write a Spanish word that represents you and what you like. Lastly, draw a picture of the word/thing/activity that you like. When we come back from being quarantined, we will have conversations using yoru poster/Google Slides. If you have any questions, contact me. Remember I will be at my daughter's wedding until Tuesday, September 7th. Chao!

You will choose a date in each season, for example, Dec. 25th. Then you will write the date in Spanish - 25 de diciembre. Then you will write a phrase describing the weather - Hace frío. Then you will draw a picture or put a photo in slides of that season. Here is an attached video describing what to do.

Learning Target: Students will review the week’s assignments, prioritize their importance, and complete as much as possible. 

Success Criteria: Students CAN:

Dr. Perry’s Lesson for 9/1: In  keeping with our Wednesday Computer Lab day, we will work independently on four websites.  

Learning Target: Students will complete, listen to, and participate in and understand activities on four different websites.. 

Success Criteria: Students CAN:
[ ] log into VOCES and complete an activity.
[ ] log into Duolingo and complete at least 5 minutes worth of activities.
[ ] log into Señor Wooly and listen to one song and complete two activities (nuggets).
[ ] log into Flangoo and read a book for at least 10 minutes. Remember the 5 (10 fingers in Spanish) finger rule for comprehension.
